This is a high thread count cloth tape with a water-activated neutral pH adhesive (removable with water). We recommend this for heavier weight artwork such as watercolors. It is also used to attach the mat to the backing board.

This tape is reversible, remoistable with a PH of 7.0. The paper base is acid-free with a 3% calcium carbonate buffer. We recommend this tape for lighter and medium weight artwork.
